Cinematography-

While in class we learned about cinematography. What is cinematography? well is when different techniques are used to compose multiple different scenes or to make a movie. It comprise all-on screen visual elements and you will find that there are many different things that go into cinematography like camera shots, angles, and movements.

Shots- Unbroken span of action captured by an uninterrupted run of a motion picture camera. They're are multiple different different shots which are defined by how close the camera is close to the subject that's being filmed. Camera shots are based on what they are trying to show the viewers. There are over many different types of camera shot, some being Close-up, Medium shot, full shot, extreme wide out, mid shot and many more.

Angles- the specific location where the movie camera or video is placed to take a shot. Scenes can be shot from many different angles to get the exact shot you want. Some different type of shots are eye level, low angle, high angle etc.

Movements- The way a camera shifts to visually narrate and shape a viewers perspective of a scene. Movements happen when the camera move either up, down, side to side etc. Some movement names are zoom, tilt, dolly, truck, pan.

My Understanding-

Using what I learned about cinematography, I was able to identify the different types of shots and angles.

I can now identify the different kinds of camera shots and angles in a film.
