 Venom 

Venom Summary-

Venom is an Action/Science Fiction film. The movie is about a man named Eddie who becomes the host for an sentient alien named Venom. Eddie was a normal reporter who interviewed people. He gets a job to interview a rising Doctor and Researcher named DR. Carlton Drake. He asked the doctor if the rumor that he experiments on people is true. Eddie lost his job because of that. Another researcher who worked with Dr. Carlton, (Dr. Dora Skirt) asked Eddie to look investigate Dr.Carlton. She witnessed a person die because of a failed experiment that was lead by Dr.Carlton. Eddie broke into the lab and got infected with one of the things  Dr.Carlton was experimenting with. He later finds out that Dr.Carlton was trying to find suitable humans who could hold the alien inside them. Venom and Eddie proceed to fight Dr.Carlton and get rid of him and the other alien he had with him.

Opening Scene Time- 4:50

Opening Summary- 

The scene starts with a space ship in space. You hear some people talking about getting ready to land. the spaceship catches on fire and starts falling towards earth. When the space ship hits the ground, the screen goes black. Then we see ambulances and firefighters around the crashed space ship. The camera moves around the space ship to show us something  being lowered out of the spaceship. Then we see a man asking what happened. When he found out what happened the camera changes and were back at the scene of the crash. We see a man coughing on the ground. He gets put into an ambulance. We see the ambulance drive off. The man attacks the driver and the medic who was in the ambulance. The medic breaks out of the ambulance and limps away holding a piece of cloth.

How it connects to the Film-

 It connects to the film by showing us that whatever was in that came out of the space shit can take control of a person body which happens to Eddie. It also shows us who the main villain who is.

Deadpool

Deadpool SUMMARY-

DEADPOOL is an action/comedy film, It's about a man named Wade Wilson, a mercenary. He met a woman named Vanessa and fell in love .One day Wade finds out that he's been diagnosed with terminal cancer. While Wade was a bar he frequents man comes up and hands him a card saying that if he goes to the address on the card, he cancer could get cured. he reluctantly agrees and goes to the location on the card. He meets a man named Ajax. Ajax is the one who said he could cure Wade's cancer. Wade later finds out that yes, his cancer could get cured but the cost it him going through horridly painful experiments. the experiments were to find out what his mutant power was. wade finds out his power is accelerated healing. But because of the test he is left horribly disfigured. wade escaped the place he was getting experimented on and sets out to find ajax and make him fix his face. when wade finds ajax, he says he can't fix him and that he's stuck like that. Wade gets rid of Ajax at the end of the movie.

A song starts playing as the camera starts moving through objects and people who are barley moving.

How it connects-

This scene we see in the opening is actually the scene we see later in the movie. wade found Ajax a little while after that scene passed.

 DEADPOOL 2 

Deadpool 2 summary-

This movie is also an action/comedy film. In this movie wade looses Vanessa. he sets out to find everyone related to her murder. he does so and then decides to go with the x-men. he goes on an mission with the team to help calm a mutant kid down. wade realizes that the orphanage that the kid was staying at was abusing him. wade kills on of the workers and thrown into prison along with the kid. wade  and the kid are getting used to the prison when a time traveler brakes into the prison and starts trying to kill the kid. wade fights the time traveler and get out of the prison. he assembles a team to try to protect the kid. he meets the time traveler and learns that the kid end up killing the time travelers family in the future. wade persuades the time traveler to let wade try to help the kid first. wade stops the kid from killing his first victim but dies in the end. the time traveler uses his only way back home to save wade and bring him back.

opening summary-

the scene shows multiple Deadpool's moving in slow motion and in synch while the camera continues to zoom in. Music is also playing.

How it connects- 

the opening scene has some items from some important people like the teddy bear that the time travelers daughter had.   it also showed wades katan's and his guns. it also showed the coin that the time traveler went back to give wade to save him. it also shows some important scenes like the place where wade kills the last person related to Vanessa's death.

Purpose for the Films Openings

Venom- The purpose of venoms opening scene was to show us who the villain is and what we're dealing with. It shows us that we are dealing with something that is not from earth and we humans are the ones that brought it here.

DEADPOOL- The purpose of Deadpool opening was to show us what Wade becomes in the future. the position Wade is in the opening also lets us know that there will be some comedy in this movie.

DEADPOOL 2- The purpose of this opening was to give us a sad but comical feeling. Wade looses the love of his life Vanessa in this movie. the song that splaying in the background has a sad sound to it. Wades random and sometimes sexual poses give the opening a comical feeling to it.

Compare and Contrast

Visual elements- All three movies have some sort of action involved so that means there must be some kind of CGI intertwined with the editing. Venom had a lot of dull lighting and low lights. This gave of the impression that Eddies world was dark and dull. Deadpool and dead pool 2 had bright lights and a lot of things in all of the places wade stayed at.

Auditory Elements- Again since all three of the movies have some sort of action so there are loud sounds and bangs. in venom, Venom speaks to Eddie most of the time through Eddie's thoughts. Because he speaks like that, his voice has a sort of echo to it. In DEADPOOL Wade's dialogue will most likely have some kind of joke in it.

Character- The characters in the three movies are very different from each other. Eddie is reluctant to do things. He deals with Venoms randomness and other quirks. While Eddie is reluctant, Wade on the other hand is spontaneous and free willed. He may seem cruel but he's really a kind person underneath it all.

 Representation- there was no stereotypical representation in the opening.
